Remaja pasangan kekasih M (17) dan T (18) membuat heboh kota Palembang, Sumatera Selatan karena aksi bunuh diri keduanya.

M dan T terjun ke Sungai Musi bersama-sama pada Minggu 23 Agustus 2020 pukul 13.00 WIB.

Warga yang melihat aksi mereka sempat berusaha menyelamatkan, namun gagal.

Selang sekitar 12 jam kemudian, jenazah keduanya ditemukan, tepatnya pada Minggu pukul 23.35 WIB.

Paman M yang bernama Muhammad David memberi kesaksian tentang isi chat T sebelum peristiwa bunuh diri terjadi.

Menurut David, apa yang dikatakan T dalam pesannya merupakan isyarat kematian.

Dari isi Whatsapp itu, T disebut sudah mengatakan bahwa dirinya ingin bunuh diri.

"Handphone itu ada di dalam tas dan ditinggal di tempat mereka berdua melompat ke Sungai Musi. Dari pesan chat di handphone itu, korban yang laki-laki mau bunuh diri," ujarnya saat ditemui di rumah duka di Jalan Padang Selasa Kecamatan Ilir Barat I Palembang, Senin (24/8/2020).

Sehingga, David menduga M sempat mencoba untuk menghentikan T.

Namun sesampainya di lokasi Tempat Kejadian Perkara (TKP), M justur diduga ikut menceburkan diri.

Menurut pengakuan saksi mata, mereka sempat berpelukan.

"Ada saksi namanya Herman, dia cerita kedua korban ini seperti membahas sesuatu tapi tidak tahu tentang apa. Tiba-tiba mereka berpelukan dan langsung terjun ke sungai,"jelasnya.

M Anak Semata Wayang

Suasana duka menyelimuti keluarga M (17) salah seorang remaja putri yang ditemukan tewas usai melompat ke Sungai Musi, Palembang.

Warga Jalan Padang Selasa, Kecamatan Ilir Barat 1 Kota Palembang yang diketahui terjun bersama pasangannya di dermaga 10 Ulu Palembang, Minggu (23/8/2020) sekira pukul 13.00 WIB.

 

M ditemukan oleh Tim SAR tak lama sesaat ditemukannya jasad tegar yang sudah dalam keadaan tidak bernyawa.

Saat mendatangi rumah duka, suasana haru menyelimuti kediaman korban.

Satu persatu warga berdatangan ke rumah duka untuk memberikan ucapan bela sungkawa kepada keluarga.

Diketahui, M merupakan anak tunggal dari pasangan M Zen (Alm) dan Ermi.

Semasa hidup M hanya tinggal bersama ibunya di rumah.

Sang Ibu yakni Ermi tak kuasa menahan tangis melihat anak semata wayangnya meninggal dunia.

Terlihat beberapa kali, sang ibu terkapar dan syok melihat anaknya yang masih duduk di bangku kelas 3 SMA tersebut meninggal dunia tenggelam di Sungai Musi Kota Palembang.

M merupakan anak yatim.

Ayahnya sudah setahun lalu meninggal dunia.

Akibatnya, kini Ibu M tinggal sebatang kara.

"Ayahnya juga meninggal setahun yang lalu, ibunya begitu terpukul dengan kejadian ini," lanjutnya.

Dikutip Tribun Sumsel, David menjelaskan selama ini M juga tidak pernah memiliki masalah dengan keluarga.

"M itu kan anak tunggal dan memang sebelumnya juga tidak ada permasalahan dengan keluarga," ujar David.

Ia masih tidak menyangka keponakannya tewas dengan cara seperti itu.

"Kami juga tidak tahu bagaimana dia bisa seperti itu. Kami sangat tidak menyangka akan ada kejadian begini," lanjutnya.

Pada kesempatan itu, David mengatakan M ingin berjualan minuman juga karena ingin lebih dekat dengan T.

Sedangkan T juga bekerja di pasar 16 Ilir Palembang sebagai kuli panggul.

"Karena pandemi Covid-19 dan ingin dekat dengan T, M jualan minuman ringan keliling di Pasar 16," kata David.

Ibunya ikut berjualan dengan sang anak agar bisa memantau M.

"Usaha dagang minuman ringan keliling itu punya salah seorang keluarga kami juga. Ibunya M ikut jualan juga supaya bisa mantau anaknya," ungkapnya.

Sementara itu, Ibu dari M, Ermi (43) terus menangis saat jenazah korban hendak dimakamkan.
